Internationally recognized Flamenco artist and master teacher Leticia ‘La Canela’ Jimenez started her studies in ballet, classical Spanish dance, theatre and flamenco in La Academia Arte Espanol, Texas at the young age 4.

As a lead performer she has toured all over the world.  Most notable in United States, Puerto Rico, England, Canada, Scotland, Mexico and Spain.

It didn't take her long to put her talents to work in film and television industry.  The Flamenco and Acting were natural fits ... both calling upon spontaneity, passion and a drive to perform.

After a brief stent modeling in New York, Leticia caught the acting bug and has starred in such shows as HBO’s ‘Treme’, the  hit CW show ‘The Originals’ and USA networks ‘Satisfaction’.

She is also tearing it up on the big screen as the lead in ‘Shut In’, ‘Pitch Perfect 2’ and ‘Left Behind’.

With numerous projects in development, Leticia continues to surprise by playing challenging roles in the indie films, ‘Jake’s Road’ with Eric Roberts, ‘The Historian’ with William Sadler and ‘Shut In’ with Beth Riesgraf.

Currently, Leticia divides her time between New Orleans, Atlanta and Los Angeles.
